A Decree Upon the Occasion of Our Founding
It has come to my attention that the modern world conducts much of its business upon something called the "World Wide Web." My publisher, a persistent entity named Maison Studio Moxie, has spent the better part of a year badgering me to establish a presence here.
I resisted, naturally. I argued that a gentleman's correspondence should be limited to heavy stationery and wax seals. I pointed out that a screen cannot convey the aroma of a properly aged scotch, nor the delicate snap of tempered chocolate. They countered with arguments about "reach" and "accessibility", words that normally make me reach for my smelling salts.
And yet, here we are. I have capitulated, though I assure you, it is under protest.
If you are reading this, it means the estate's digital doors are open. Do try not to smudge the pixels. In the coming weeks, I shall use this forum to disseminate wisdom regarding the finer things in life, and perhaps to complain about the declining standards of caviar service in major metropolitan areas.
Consider yourself welcomed. I expect exemplary behavior.
Yours, with a raised brow and a raised glass,
